The evening primrose

The effect of the evening primrose had already been known to the North American Indians: they collected the seeds in order to crush them and use the paste against skin eruptions. The evening primrose’s oil is rich in valuable, essential fatty acids. In particular the gamma-linolenic acid contained in the evening primrose is often not generated in sufficient amounts by the body. Moreover, many people suffer from very dry, flaky skin.
